About Me

A safe space to be yourself

Hi, I'm Jules (she/her)

I'm a fully qualified integrative counsellor based in Plymouth. I offer a safe, nurturing, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

I have over 40 years' experience in a range of jobs, supporting people from all walks of life to become more independent, achieve their goals, and lead more fulfilled lives.

I am part of the LGBTQIA+ community and have volunteered and worked within a Devon-based queer organisation for 13 years.

It was through one-to-one support work that I truly saw the power of being heard without judgement, and that led me to become a qualified counsellor.

My Approach

Being an integrative counsellor means that although my main method is person-centred, I may draw on other approaches depending on what feels right for you.

You are always in control. You are the expert, even if it doesn't feel that way right now. My role is to walk alongside you as we work together to find what you need.

Who I Support

Although I support people from all walks of life, as I have lived experience, I specialise in working with people from the LGBTQIA+ community.

I have many years' experience supporting people navigating identity, mental health challenges, and difficult life experiences, particularly trans, non-binary, and neurodivergent individuals.

“Everyone deserves to be heard, understood, and supported.”
